I have been honored with selection as a semi-finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers Genesis award. It is for all “emerging”, which is their polite way of saying “not yet published”, writers with completed manuscripts. Guided by five magnificent professional critiques, my novel, the first in a mystery series is undergoing revisions and will be making the rounds of agents this fall.
A travel agent visiting her family in Michigan witnesses a murder prior to a motorcycle ride for charity. As she stays in town, she is joined by an ExMarine and her nephew as they work together to discover the murderer. But the journey takes each deeper into their own past and fears.
